The kick off of the
project occurred on the 1st of March.
GRU project deals with environmental
education and information on waste
production in the Politecnico di Milano,
Universitya’ di Napoli Federico II, and
Universita’ di Catania and has an
important partners consortium devoted
to collaborate to the achievement of GRU
project goals. They are, in fact, assumed to
be very sensitive to new environmental
views, issues, and practices and will be
directly involved in the activities to learn
and imbibe an environmental and
sustainability culture. By this perspective,
the dissemination of best practices
adopted within the European Community
and related to waste management is
strongly welcome. For this reason, the
GRU project team kindly asked ENEP
members for their contribution to enrich
EU “best practices” on the topic.
To communicate best practices for Project
GRU, please contact the coordinator of
the project Ms. Floriana Ferrara at the
mail address
progettogru@ingegneriambientali.it
and/or the webmaster Mrs. Annamaria
De Sanctis at the mail address:
aiat.projects@gmail.com
Further information please visit:
www.progettogru.it
FORTHCOMING EVENTS
Date Event Location Weblink
6-7
September
2012
ENEP Autumn
2012 General
Assembly
Brussels,
Belgium
TBC
12-14
September
2012
17th International
Congress for
Battery Recycling
Amsterdam,
Netherlands
www.icm.ch
7-8
November
2012
IEEM Autumn
2012 Conference –
Renewable Energy
and Biodiversity
Cardiff,
Wales
www.ieem.net
21-22
March 2013
ENEP Spring 2013
General Assembly
TBC TBC
ABOUT ENEP
ENEP is the European Network of
Environmental Professionals, which seeks to
promote and coordinate the professional
status, level and content of environmental
work and of those working in this field.
Its objectives are:
· to be the representative organisation for
all Environmental Professionals across Europe;
3
The ENEP Bulletin Issue 24 – August 2012
· to promote and co-ordinate environmental work and environmental professionals while
recognizing the separate identities of its member organisations;
· to promote adherence to environmental professional standards as one of the essential
prerequisites for achieving sustainability;
· to influence and implement the environmental policy, science and education agenda
throughout Europe.
It will do so by being respected for its adherence to sound science rather than political
lobbying but will be proactive where supported by scientific or technical evidence.
